what’s new

Small improvements for your next break. Here’s what’s changed.

  1. latest

Cats have moved into the district

    • Play Cat Districts, a logic puzzle where every row, column, and colored district needs exactly one cat—and cats cannot touch.
    • Everyone gets the same board each UTC day. Your unfinished board and first completed result stay saved in this browser.
    • Switch to Practice anytime for fresh Easy through Expert puzzles without changing your daily result.
    • Mark cells with keyboard controls or long-press and drag, undo moves, use hints, and choose whether sound is on.
  2. Today's Mini is here

    • Play Today's Mini, an original 5x5 crossword with across and down clues. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day.
    • A new puzzle arrives at midnight Philippine time (Asia/Manila, PHT, UTC+8), or 16:00 UTC on the previous day.
    • Your letters, time, and help used save in this browser, so you can pick up where you left off.
    • Check a word or reveal a letter when you need a hand. Checks and reveals mark your solve as assisted.
    • Your first completed daily result stays locked in this browser, and replays remain practice without replacing it.
    • Use Previous Minis to replay past puzzles or resume unfinished ones as practice. Today stays the default, and your daily results stay unchanged.
  3. A little news with your next break

    • Bored now has an update log so you can see what changed when a new release arrives.
    • Dismiss an update once and keep playing. You can reopen the log anytime with “what’s new” at the bottom of any page.
